2026 Trip Dates – January 6-17
Is God asking you to step out of your comfort zone and experience cross-cultural service? Consider joining the Guatemala Mission Trip team. The team will serve at Mission Impact, and its school, Vida y Esperanza, an organization GraceWay has supported for more than 20 years. Registration deadline is September 14. Who: Healthy and adventurous persons age 16 and older with hearts and hands ready to honor Jesus through serving others. This team will be serving in two distinct manners. One aspect is heavy on relationships and the other is more project focused for your construction-oriented types. The team size is flexible, with 8-12 persons being ideal.
Means: This is a self-funded mission trip, with costs being $1500 to $1700 depending on airfare.
Focus 1: The relationship oriented team members will focus on the staff. We will serve and encourage, helping to ground them in their identity in Christ. This activity will involve prayer times, devotional interactions, meals together, fun games and serving them in any manner that arises. Basically we are at their service with our main focus to love and build them up.
Focus 2: We will have opportunities for light construction and maintenance projects on the Vida y Esperanza campus. The school would like pavers laid outside the existing metal and wood shops to help with crowding issues. We may be asked to participate in other maintenance projects, from minor repairs to painting.
