Children’s Ministry Update
While GraceWay Church has resumed worship services along with limited nursery and children’s church. Click here for more information on regathering the church.
The nursery (for children up to age three) is available during the worship service and the education hour. Nursery workers are screened volunteers who are members of GraceWay or regular attendees. Our nursery has a variety of toys, a changing table and its own bathroom. Parents are asked to leave their cell phone numbers and are buzzed in case they are needed during the service.
Children’s Church is for kids age 3 through kindergarten and uses the SuperBook video curriculum. Kids are dismissed during the worship service, after the congregational prayer. SuperBook has fun and interactive videos with worship that gets the kids up and moving!
Education Hour/Sunday School
Sunday School takes place after the worship service from 10:20-11:20 a.m. for children age two – 5th grade and takes place during the school year. Kids up to kindergarten transition from Children’s Church to Sunday School and those in 3rd-5th grade head up to the children’s area after the worship service. Sunday School includes watching a video and learning about the morning’s lesson. They are then dismissed by age group for the rest of the lesson. Finally, we wrap up the Sunday School hour by coming back together for a time of singing and worship. Children may be picked up after the education hour at the same place they were checked in.

The curriculum used is called The Gospel Project®. It is a chronological, Christ-centered Bible study that examines how all Scripture gives testimony to Jesus Christ. Over the course of three years, kids journey from Genesis to Revelation and discover how God’s plan of redemption unfolds throughout Scripture.
