>> Register for Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry (we ask families to register each year)
The nursery (for children up to age three) is available during the worship service and the education hour. Nursery workers are screened volunteers who are members of GraceWay or regular attendees. Our nursery has a variety of toys, a changing table and its own bathroom. Parents are asked to leave their cell phone numbers and are buzzed in case they are needed during the service.
Children’s Church is for kids age 3 through 2nd grade during the service. Each week there is a Bible lesson and singing as well as activities such as crafts and games that relate to the lesson.
Children’s Sunday School – begins September 12
Sunday School takes place after the worship service from 10:30-11:30 a.m. for children age 2 – 6th grade and takes place during the school year. Sunday School includes a time of singing and worship followed by a video and learning about the mornings lesson. They are then dismissed by age group for the rest of the lesson. Children can be picked up from their classrooms at the end of Education Hour.
Sunday School Classes
- Ages 2 & 3
- Ages 4k & Kindergarten
- 1st – 3rd grade
- 4th – 6th grade
The curriculum used is called The Gospel Project®. It is a chronological, Christ-centered Bible study that examines how all Scripture gives testimony to Jesus Christ. Over the course of three years, kids journey from Genesis to Revelation and discover how God’s plan of redemption unfolds throughout Scripture.
